Future IM/Pact, in collaboration with Mercer, is leading the Gender Data Report to build a comprehensive view of gender composition and talent mobility within Australian investment teams. This report builds upon the 2016 Mercer research, which exposed structural and cultural barriers to women’s progress within investment management. The research found that 50% of women were more likely to leave at the senior analyst level, and men were 30% more likely to be promoted.
As part of the research, we hope to learn more about the lived experiences of female CSAs in the wealth management industry and the support and advocacy they need to advance.
These qualitative insights will provide commentary on the quantitative responses we receive and provide clear insights into the real-world experiences of women working in funds management. It will run for 90 minutes, and all responses will be anonymous in the report.
