Structural challenges

Flat hierarchies and low turnover create stability, until that stability becomes stagnation. Cracking into the industry is hard, analysts wait years for seats to open, mid-career professionals plateau and senior leaders have limited opportunities to develop others or advance themselves.

Politics and power plays

Politics is unavoidable. Put people in a room with high stakes and limited seats, and egos surface. Competition for roles, unclear promotion paths and unspoken hierarchies turn friction into fatigue. Self

Future IM/Pact was founded by Yolanda Beattie, who has worked for 25 years in and around funds and wealth management. She has spent the past decade researching careers in investments and coaching the professionals building them.

Our programs combine behavioural insight, real-world experience, deep contacts and practical tools, designed specifically for the pressures and realities of investment management and advice.
