At Future IM/Pact, we’re thrilled to partner with TCorp, an organisation that doesn’t just talk about diversity but lives and breathes it every day. Their commitment to diversity of thought, gender and other inclusivity factors sets a high bar for the industry, and creates a business environment where exploration and curiosity flourish. Through proactive and intentional policies and practices, TCorp leverages a broad range of perspectives, approaches, and ideas to solve complex problems and deliver outstanding results.

At TCorp, we know that diversity powers greater collaboration, problem solving, creativity, and innovation and that this results in greater employee engagement and retention, as well as enriched client outcomes. We value our partnership with Future IM/Pact as we see it as a wonderful initiative which encourages more young women to consider a career in investment management. We also see it as a great way to build a pipeline of diverse talent.

Championing diversity of thought

TCorp places a high priority on diversity of thought to foster innovation and enrich their decision-making processes. Utilising tools such as the Hermann Brain Dominance Instrument (HBDI), they gain insights into individual thinking preferences across analytical, practical, relational, and experimental domains. This approach not only promotes self-awareness and mutual respect among team members but also enhances collaboration and problem-solving by integrating diverse perspectives. By embracing diversity of thought, TCorp is cultivating a culture of innovation and adaptability, enhancing client outcomes and financial performance.

Setting bold goals for gender diversity

Gender diversity is a top priority at TCorp, as evidenced by their ambitious and commendable target of 50% of senior leadership roles to be filled by women by the end of financial year 2026. This isn’t just a number; it’s a powerful statement about the value they place on the unique insights and skills women bring to the table.

Driving gender diversity and building a pipeline of women across the investment management industry is the main reason TCorp partners with Future IM/Pact, and we’re proud to be a key part of their DE&I strategy.

Creating a supportive culture

These initiatives, along with their strong and active support of the Future IM/Pact program, are a testament to TCorp’s commitment to creating a truly inclusive workplace.

Encouraging the next generation of talent

As an enthusiastic supporter of Future IM/Pact, TCorp has significantly contributed to the program and our events. Together, we’ve seen incredible talent emerge through initiatives like the Investment Competition and Mentoring Circles.

TCorp hosted the 2023 Investment Competition final in their Sydney office. This is a platform for bright and talented university students to shine and connect with industry leaders and a key way TCorp encourages the next generation of talent. One of the winners was Nathan Yuan who chose to complete his paid internship prize with TCorp and thrived within the business.

“Nathan has been a great addition to the team. He is curious, keen to learn and has already made good relationships with all the stakeholders he has worked with.” Nishita Merchant, Manager, Real Assets, TCorp

Nathan only had praise and gratitude for his time with TCorp too, stating:

“During my TCorp internship, I appreciated the responsibility entrusted to me and the inclusive culture of the team, which made integrating into the workplace seamless and made me feel like a full-time employee rather than just an intern.”
