Part of the program from day one
QIC is a foundational partner of Future IM/Pact and has been involved from the beginning stages, helping to design, brand and name the program back in 2018. From the onset, QIC saw the value and pressing need to attract more women and people with diverse backgrounds into front-office investing to bring different perspectives to the table, improve decision-making and increase performance. They saw Future IM/Pact as a key vehicle for promoting the investment management industry to women and diverse talent, building a strong female pipeline and correcting the gender balance within the industry.
QIC has been involved in all aspects of Future IM/Pact over the years, from Mentoring Circles, to hosting partner events, and being a key contributor to the annual Investment Competition. This has provided invaluable opportunities for the QIC team to meet and nurture relationships with female students and aspiring investment managers, increasing the likelihood they will pursue a career in the funds management industry over other finance avenues. QIC professionals consistently provide positive feedback on their experience with the program, acknowledging the value of engaging directly with the bright and curious students and early career women that attend events.
