Question: I tried to google Career Connect but can’t find the program portal?
Answer: Career Connect is built on the together platform, to sign in, bookmark this link: au.togetherplatform.com
Question: The zoom link isn’t working in the auto generated invite?
Answer:
- Make sure you calendar is integrated. Once it’s integrated, the calendar will send invites from the virtual meeting connected to it. Need help integrating your calendar, use this guide: https://help.togetherplatform.com/hc/en-us/articles/40472460141203-Individual-Calendar-Integrations
- If you don’t want to integrate you calendar or you company has restrictions in place, once you and your match agree to a time, send a seperate invite with the meeting connection of your choice.
Question: I haven’t received any emails from the Career Connect Program since I signed up?
Answer:
- Are you Mentor? It’s likely the emails are in the your junk folder. If you still can’t find any, please reach out to info@future-impact.com.au so we can troubleshoot for you.
- Are you a Mentee? Have you checked your junk folder? If you have, you might not have any matches yet. New mentors are joining the program everyday, make sure you profile is putting your best put forward by using this guide.
Question: Can I edit the meeting agendas?
Answer: Yes you can. Go to: Match → Session Plan → Click on the agenda → Click on the text to start editing → once you are done click save.
Your match will be notified that the agenda has been updated.
Question: Who can view my feedback post the session?
Answer: Only Admins of Career Connect can view your feedback. So please make sure you are honest, it’s how we make the program better.
Question: I’m a mentor that has just hit my capacity of mentee spots, what happens next?
Answer: Once you are at capacity, the platform will automatically exclude you for being eligible for new matches until you current matches end.
Question: How do I end a match?
Answer: Both Mentors and Mentees can end a match. Simply click on your match and click ‘End Match’ on the top right. See image below.
