I can't find the program portal
Career Connect runs on the Together platform, not a standalone site. Bookmark this link to sign in: https://au.togetherplatform.com/
I've forgotten my password
Enter your email as your username and select 'Forgot Password'. The platform will guide you through the rest.
I haven't received any emails since signing up
- Mentors: check your junk folder first. Still nothing? Email info@future-impact.com.au and we'll troubleshoot it with you.
- Mentees: check your junk folder. If there's nothing there, you likely don't have a match yet - new mentors join every day. Make sure your profile puts your best foot forward using this guide.
Matching and requests
How does matching work?
Mentees are sent a list of potential mentors matched to their goals and they rank them in order of preference. Mentors then receive a request and can accept or decline - no explanation needed. If declined, the request moves to the next mentor on the list. Once accepted, the mentee will reach out directly to arrange a time.
Can I request a match directly, rather than waiting to be matched
Yes. Both mentors and mentees can browse the full list of available profiles in the Matching tab and send a connection request directly to anyone whose goals or expertise align.
My match request hasn't been accepted (mentees)
Mentors have seven days to accept a request before it lapses. If this happens, your request moves on and you can select from your remaining recommendations.
Can I connect with more than one mentor (mentees)
You can hold one active match within a program stream at a time. If you join both programs - Investment Management and Wealth Management - you can have one active match within each stream, allowing you to connect with two mentors at the same time.
I've hit my mentee capacity, what happens now (mentors)
The platform automatically excludes you from new match requests until a current match ends.
Meetings and agendas
The Zoom link isn't working in the auto-generated invite
This usually means your calendar isn't integrated. Once it is, invites are sent automatically from your connected calendar. Watch how to integrate here, or follow the written guide here.
If you'd rather not integrate your calendar, or your workplace has restrictions in place, that's fine. Once you and your match agree on a time, simply send a separate invite with the meeting link of your choice.
Can I edit the meeting agenda?
Yes. Go to Match, then Session Plan. Click on the agenda, then click the text to start editing, and select save. Your match will be notified. Either party can edit at any time. Watch how to do this here.
Can we meet more than once?
Yes, if you're both keen to continue you can arrange further sessions through the platform or directly with your match.
Ending a match
How do I end a match?
Both mentors and mentees can end a match at any time. Open the match and select 'End Match' in the top right. Watch how to end a match here.
Feedback
Who can see my feedback?
Only Future IM/Pact admins can view feedback submitted after a session. We love to hear feedback and please be honest - it's how we improve the program for everyone.
Good to know: Timelines and guidelines
A few timelines that keep the platform running smoothly for everyone:
- Complete your profile within 30 days of registering, or it's removed to make room for waitlisted members (you can always re-register).
- Once matched, reach out within 7 days to introduce yourself, or the match will be closed.
- Matches close automatically 7 days after your last session, so book your next one before then if you'd like to continue.
- Rescheduling twice in a row with the same match will result in being unmatched - let us know if you're facing extenuating circumstances.
