Become a LevelUP mentor

LevelUP is a 4-month leadership program, supporting high potential mid-career women develop the essential mindset and non-technical skills to chart the path to senior portfolio management.

An essential part of the program is connection with senior female role models and mentors who have successfully navigated their own investing career and are keen to share their learnings with the next generation of female leaders.

What's involved as a role model and mentor?

  • You’ll attend 1-2 post-workshop dinners (see program schedule below)
  • You’re happy to share your unvarnished personal stories and experience
  • You’re open to establishing an informal mentor relationship with at least 1 participant (Future IM/Pact can manage requests)

I need your help to build a critical mass of senior female role models and mentors across the industry so these women can see who they want to be.

How Level UP works and your participation

Over four months, 12 high potential mid-career female investors will be taken through three full day in-person workshops and 1 on 1 coaching exploring the inner game of investing, leadership and careers in pursuit of:

Each workshop is followed by a dinner which is attended by inspiring female role models such as yourself, where you’ll share your experiences and be open to forming organic relationships and mentoring opportunities.

Why become a Level UP mentor

We’ve spoken to dozens of women across the industry in Senior Associate, Senior Analyst and Assistant PM roles to better understand their career aspirations and the support they crave. Access to senior female roles models and mentors is on the top of their list. They want to hear real stories of women like them, who were once in their shoes, so they can understand how to successfully navigate a career and life in this industry they love.

Facilitated by leadership expert with extensive industry knowledge

In the eight years I’ve been helping the investment management industry build more gender diverse teams, I’ve met with dozens of senior female investors who are keen to give back and support the women who are following their footsteps.

These women know they carved the path that was previously the exclusive domain of men. And they see the challenges women continue to face.

That’s why I’m thrilled to launch this program that makes it fun and easy for you to have a super-charged impact on the careers of future PMs.

I’ll be creating the forum and sharing the tools that help these women reflect deeply on where they want to take the next decade of their career and life, and structure their thoughts into a coherent plan, informed by clear and actionable feedback, supported by the people who matter.

These tools will help them cultivate the deep self-awareness that’s essential for their growth, and the self-belief they need to finally tame their inner-critic.
