Right now, I’m interested in how central bank policy is shaping both equity and fixed income markets. With inflation still lingering and interest rates high, I’m interested in how investors are pricing in the timing of future rate cuts and what that means for sectors like tech and real estate.
I’m also fascinated by the rise of private capital, especially how more companies are staying private for longer, which shifts growth opportunities away from public markets. It raises questions about access, transparency, and long-term investment strategies. Finally, I’ve been following the evolution of ESG investing and how funds are balancing sustainable goals with performance pressures. With regulatory changes and shifting investor priorities, I think it’s a space full of opportunity and challenge.
Overall, I’m curious about how investors are adapting to a rapidly changing environment, and what these shifts mean for the future of capital markets.
I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Melbourne, majoring in Economics and Finance, where I’ve been honored with a National Merit Scholarship. My academic journey began at St Margaret’s Girls School in Brisbane, where I achieved an ATAR of 99.30 and served as both a prefect and basketball captain.
Professionally, I’ve gained valuable experience as a Winter Intern at Instantia, a fintech startup, and as a Valuation, Modelling, and Economics Intern at EY Vietnam. My leadership skills have been honed through roles such as Project Leader for the Ormond Impact Initiative and Co-Head of the Global Students Committee at Ormond College. I’ve also dedicated time to community service, including mentoring through the Student2Student program and participating in the Ponytail Project for cancer patients.
In my spare time, I enjoy competing in running festivals across various cities. My diverse experiences have shaped me into a well-rounded individual eager to contribute to meaningful initiatives.
