Future IM/Pact, in collaboration with Mercer, is leading the Gender Data Report to build a comprehensive view of gender composition and talent mobility within Australian investment teams. This report builds upon the 2016 Mercer research, which exposed structural and cultural barriers to women’s progress within investment management. The research found that 50% of women were more likely to leave at the senior analyst level, and men were 30% more likely to be promoted.
As part of the research, we’re keen to speak with women working in front-office investing to get their insights into some of the barriers they face and the solutions they most want from their leaders, organisations and industry.
These qualitative insights will comment on the quantitative responses we receive and provide clear insights into the real-world experiences of women working in funds management. They will run for 90 minutes, and all responses will be anonymous in the report.
